Skull charcoal drawings to be exhibited

I am proud to announce that a diptych that I have created of a horse skull and a cow skull has been selected to exhibit at the Summit Artspace in Akron, Ohio. Best and favorite works of art will be awarded up to $10,000 I’m prize money. You can visit the venue and vote for your favorites (MINE!) at 140 E Market St, Akron, Ohio. This galleray is open thurs – sat noon to 5pm.

This is my official Akron debut so I’m pretty excited about it! With a recent move out of my Columbus market, for educational purposes (university of Akron’s Mary Schiller Art School) and then another move to Highland Square (all in less than 6 mos!) I’ve scarcely had a moment to breathe, let alone draw.

And so I am pleased to have produced these pieces. I framed them in reclaimed barn wood. I drop them off today, as the exhibition starts tomorrow. Nothing  like procrastination!

WordPress being letting me upload images. You may be able to view the  skulls here

Please stop by the Summit Artspace this weekend to vote for my work!
