Ingrid Michaelson, who just put out her fifth album isa New York native with a unique, indie style. I love it for it’s simplicity and heartfelt honesty. Her music has been featured on a few different shows including Scrubs, Bones, Grey’s Anatomy and One Tree Hill, and an Old Navy ad.
As a lover of all things great and vintagy, I am sooo in love with Mumford and Sons.
This great group of childhood best friends from London just put out their sophomore album, The Cave. Just 18n months ago, they were a garage band, now they are touring like crazy and selling out shows. They went viral overnight. With a throwback feel, a little bluegrassy with a lot of strumming of banjoes, stand up bass and a dobro, among other instruments.
Definitely worth a quick minute to make your morning brighter.
